- The City of Wilsonville knew they had a very special resource in the historic Stein Homestead barn and nut-drying shed. They also knew that restoring the structures
would require specialized work. So they turned to O'Brien, who worked closely with the city to provide budget estimates for funding purposes. O'Brien was awarded the project due to extensive
research and specialized knowledge of the site. The historic hand hewn barn was made functional and safe, while retaining its agricultural character, and preserving the primitive handcrafted
details of the building for visitors to appreciate.
