- The Children's Relief Nursery needed help, and fast. Another general contractor stopped work on their 1920's St. Johns facility after removing the existing roof. O'Brien
took over the project, which included remediation of mold and water damage due to the roof's absence, completion of the wood framing that combined four separate buildings into one and execution
of a seismic upgrade. O'Brien also rebuilt the interior space and outdoor play area. The new and improved facility enables this Portland non-profit to continue to provide child abuse prevention
services to families with children who are at serious risk of abuse or neglect.
